Good bye, James

I really think that the singer/musician/dancer/leader, James Brown, is one of the "greats" of American popular music. His music has informed all the stages of my life, so far. I am very sad at the news of his death. I write about the subject at length on my other blog, Planetnelson.com. But I think he is one of the zeitgeists of the boomer generation. He was there at the start and now his chapter closes. I miss him.
